The term DI (donor insemination) refers to the use of semen donated by voluntary donors for Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). Health Canada regulates the screening process to ensure that a high standard is maintained.

AART does not sell donor sperm and we do not accept donations from anonymous donors. However, we work closely with importers who import sperm from Primary Establishments under Health Canada’s Safety of Sperm & Ova Regulations that can ship donor sperm to AART for use in treatment. Their links are listed below.

Can-Am (imports sperm from Xytex, Fairfax, Seattle Sperm Bank, NW Cryobank) https://www.canamcryo.com/en

Origin (imports sperm from Fairfax and Origin) originspermbank.com

Canada Cryobank (imports sperm from Fairfax and California Cryobank) - http://www.canadacryobank.com/ (this is a new importer and their website is under construction at this time)
